Calibrate your monitor's gamma settings for accurate color reproduction. Proper gamma ensures images display with correct brightness and contrast.

Gamma Ramp Test

Adjust your monitor settings until each bar appears as a smooth gradient without banding:

Gamma: 2.2
1.0 (Bright) 2.2 (Standard) 3.0 (Dark)

You should be able to distinguish all squares below. If not, adjust your brightness:

How to Calibrate

  1. Set your monitor to default settings
  2. Adjust brightness until you can see all black squares
  3. Adjust contrast until you can see all white squares
  4. Fine-tune gamma for smooth gradients without banding
  5. Standard gamma is 2.2 for Windows/Mac, 1.8 for older Mac systems
