Welcome to Keptora. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you use our Browser Extension and Desktop Application.

1. Data Collection

We act as a data processor. The Keptora extension collects the following data solely to provide functionality:

• License Keys: To verify your Pro subscription status via our secure API.
• Website Content: The extension accesses images and page titles on the websites you visit strictly to perform the batch download function triggered by you.
• Site Preferences: We store your download settings (e.g., naming templates) linked to specific domains locally on your device.

2. Data Usage

• Local Processing: All image processing and filtering happen locally in your browser.
• Server Communication: When using the "Local Deduplication" feature or checking licenses, minimal data (Image URLs or License Keys) is sent to our API (api.keptora.com). We do not store your browsing history. "Local Deduplication" Service is running on your desktop. It does not send any data to our API.
• No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload your downloaded images to any cloud servers.

3. Third-Party Services

Payments are processed securely by PayPal. We do not store your credit card information.

4. User Rights

You can reset your license bindings or uninstall the extension to remove local data at any time.
